With a deep commitment to improving quality of life for people with hearing loss, Dr. Lori Miller co-founded High Tone Hearing to provide thoughtful, evidence-based hearing care in Sioux Falls.
Lori's journey into audiology began with a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders, followed by a master's degree in audiology. She later earned her Doctor of Audiology degree, building extensive expertise in diagnostic audiology, hearing aid technology and hearing rehabilitation.
Before opening her own practice, Lori worked in audiology clinics and hospital settings, gaining experience with a wide range of hearing needs and helping patients find solutions that worked in their everyday lives.
Today, she brings that experience to every patient she sees, with a focus on best-practice care, honest recommendations and making hearing healthcare easier to understand and navigate.

Dr. Sarah Johnson
Sarah Johnson, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology + Co-Founder
Dr. Sarah Johnson brings a strong background in pediatric audiology and a passion for helping people better understand their hearing health. She co-founded High Tone Hearing to create a more approachable, patient-centered experience for hearing care in Sioux Falls.
Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders before completing her Doctor of Audiology degree at the University of South Dakota. Her experience in pediatric care has shaped the way she practices today, with an emphasis on listening closely, explaining things clearly and helping patients and families feel confident in their care.
Throughout her career, Sarah has been passionate about hearing health education, early identification and making sure people have the information they need to make informed decisions about their hearing.
Today, she brings that same approach to patients of all ages, combining clinical expertise with practical guidance and a genuine desire to make hearing healthcare feel a little less complicated.
